Help wrote:will somebody help me pleaseok i did all of the steps and when i plug in my psp and start remotejoy lite all i get is black window with word waiting in up right cornerIt depends on your version of windows, but. Put the plugin in the vsh.txt by putting ms0:/seplguins/RemoteJoyLite.prx 1 in there, and then also do the same for game.txt. Do note that you have to -make- these two.txt files, though it's not hard, just use notepad.

Anyway.Next, install the driver without having the PSP connected. Once it's done installing, optionally restart (I didn't, but go for it just in case). With 7/Vista, you have to be in unsigned drivers mode.Next, plug the PSP in after all's said and done.

You should hear that annoying Windows 'a USB has just been plugged in' two-tone noise and then all you have to do is just open the RemoteJoyLiteen.exe file (or whatever it's called) and there shouldn't be a WAITING in the top right if you've followed the driver/plugin steps correctly and heard the USB plugin thing (without going into USB mode).I don't know whether this is any help (probably not) but when I installed remotejoylite on my PSP GO I was told to change the 'ms0' to 'EF0' in the VSH and GAME txt files. Or is it small letters 'ef0', can't remember, pretty sure I used big letters. If that don't work, try downloading the 'remotejoylite 0.19 fix 1' file. The remotejoylite 0.20 didn't work for me but the aforementioned 0.19 did. Gotta get the version with the 'fix 1 named after it. The fix was done by the author of remotejoylite. My setup if this helps.PSP GO, Firmware 6.20, TN HEN A, HBL R109The remotejoylite 0.19 fix 1 works brilliant btw.

Fast, steady and smooth. It came up for download from PSP GEN on the 4th January.I didn't download it from there. I downloaded the prx on it's own elsewhere (but had no windows drivers with it) and couldn't get it to work. I used the drivers from the remotejoylite 0.20 pack I had downloaded a while back. Everything works. The above poster is correct. Ef0:/ for PSP GO users.

I also use the 0.19 fix thing. It's the one that works for me. Realistically there could only be a few variables.

The type of PSP ( which affects ef0: or ms0: ), the type of Windows (7/Vista need unsigned driver mode, as far as my XP goes, I need nothing like that), the version of this program, and whether or not you put in the information correctly for the plugin. If you need anymore help, help, just ask. There are lots of friendly and helpful users on this board =). Kouri wrote:Just a point on this ms0/ef0 stuff. I'm worried that some people are thinking that ms0: = PSP 1/2/3000 while ef0: = Go. That is not necessarily the case.ms0: = memory stickef0: = internal memoryJust because you're using a PSP Go doesn't mean you automatically need to use the ef0: prefix - it depends on where you're storing your files. If you're storing your plugins on an m2 card, you'll need to set the root directory to ms0.Yes, good point.(news to me)I haven't encountered that problem yet, as I keep all my plugins, apps, loaders, games, homebrew stuff etc.

On my main PSP GO internal memory and all my videos/music on my external M2 card. If I ever swap this setup around I'll know what to do now. You've saved me from a future problem that's now not going to happen, thanks. Koral wrote:Still, i'll repeat my question: Did anyone got it working on linux? Would really appreciate some help.Workis fine on windows 7 with a proper driver.i'm also a linux user like you.

From what i read, the only way to get it to work on linux would be by using IRSHELL, but unfortunately, we need a patched version of it for 6.20, which hasn't been released yet. The only other option would be to somehow mount the psp into wine, but wine can't detect mounted devices at all. Your best bet would be to use vmware or another machine with a windows OS.

I'd rather wait for a irshell 6.xx patch. I can still use a tv-out feature:).

RemoteJoyLiteen.exeSomething wrong with RemoteJoyLiteen.exe? Is RemoteJoyLiteen.exe using too much CPU or memory? It's probably your file has been infected with a virus.
