Arvo Part Fratres Midi File
Especially the final part with the lowpass filter works very well. Some striking dissonances between the drone and the other voices come out in this version. But when I looked it up on Wiki the text citing your analysis seemed a little dismissive of the piece where it says: Fratres is an elegant example of how mathematics can be beautiful and art can be mathematical. It was premiered in at the festival, performed by Gidon and Elena Kremer.Maybe its just the diagram that’s wrong I’ve been returning to this page for a couple of years now, and I point it out to other people on a regular basis, too.
